The Second International Academic Conference on Missing Children and Adults took place in Brussels between the 8th-10th July, 2015. The conference was organised jointly by Missing Children Europe, the Centre for the Study of Missing Persons of the University of Portsmouth and the Vrije Universiteit Brussels, and brought together academics and practitioners to discuss the latest findings related to the broader phenomenon of ‘going missing.’

The second edition of this conference was an even more international event than the first, featuring speakers from Europe, the US, India and Australia. Topics cover a wide variety of issues related to missing children and missing adults.
